General Hospital has some new company. TVLine reports One Life to Live star James DePaiva (pictured, left) has joined the ABC soap in a “top secret” role.
DePaiva played Max Holden on One Life to Live from 1987 to 2003. The long-running soap stopped airing on ABC in 2012, a year after All My Children also ended. Currently, General Hospital is the only daytime soap left on the network, where it’s been airing since 1963.
While DePaiva’s role on General Hospital is being kept under wraps, you can check out the show’s announcement below:
