Adult Swim has a new vision of the future. Variety reports the network’s new TV show, gen:LOCK, will premiere in August.
The animated series “is set 50 years in the future, where an oppressive authoritarian force threatens to conquer the world. A daring team is recruited to pilot a new form of weaponized neuroscience that powers devastating mecha, but they must be willing to sacrifice everything to save the world.” The voice cast includes Michael B. Jordan, Dakota Fanning, and Maisie Williams.
gen:LOCK premieres on Adult Swim on August 3rd.
