Get Shorty has some new company. Deadline reports Sarah Stiles has been cast in the upcoming EPIX TV series.
Based on the novel by Elmore Leonard, the dramedy stars Chris O’Dowd as Miles Daly, “a hitman from Nevada who tries to become a movie producer in Hollywood as a means to leave his criminal past behind.” Ray Romano also stars as Rick, a movie producer who helps Miles navigate Hollywood.
Stiles will play “Gladys, Rick’s secretary. She’s edgier than your typical secretary, blunt, to the point, and armed with a dry sense of humor, who dresses like she’s stumbled out of a Jersey nightclub, but she’s good at her job.”
