Getting On: Season Two Ratings

Getting On TV show on HBO ratingsDespite very small viewership, HBO renewed Getting On for a second season. Will the ratings improve this time around? Will it be cancelled or renewed for a third season? Stay tuned.

Based on a UK series of the same name, Getting On follows the staff at the Billy Barnes Extended Care Unit of Mt. Palms Hospital in Long Beach, CA. They attend to the needs of female patients who are often “getting on” in years. The comedy stars Laurie Metcalf, Alex Borstein, Niecy Nash, and Mel Rodriguez.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

2/9 update: The series has been renewed for a third and final season.

Final season averages: 0.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 250,000 total viewers.
