Welcome back to Stars Hollow. Netflix has released the first photos from their upcoming Gilmore Girls reboot, Variety reports.
The photos appear in the new issue of Entertainment Weekly.
Up until now, few details have emerged about the storyline for the four new Gilmore Girls episodes. We’ve previously reported that all the original stars will be back (minus Melissa McCarthy) and the reboot will reveal creator Amy Sherman-Palladino’s famous four last words. But the photos reveal some exciting new surprises.
From the photos, it looks like Lorelai and Luke fans don’t have to worry. The two (Lauren Graham and Scott Patterson) can be seen walking hand in hand down the street. It also looks like Rory may not have become a journalist after all. In one of the photos, she seems to be teaching English literature at her alma mater, Chilton.
A premiere date for the reboot has yet to be announced.
