Gilmore Girls is going global. Today, Netflix announced international audiences will be able to watch the original series beginning July 1st.
Created by Amy Sherman-Palladino, the WB/CW dramedy starred Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel as a fast-talking, tight-knit mother and daughter. The cast also included Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Keiko Agena, Sean Gunn, and the late Edward Herrmann. All seven seasons were released on Netflix in the United States in 2014.
Graham announced the news in a video, urging international viewers to binge watch all seven seasons before the Netflix revival premieres later this year. But be “careful,” she warns, “we talk fast.”
