Is Logan back for Rory? TVLine reports Matt Czuchry will reprise his role of Logan Huntzberger in the Netflix revival of Gilmore Girls.
Czuchry played Rory’s (Alexis Bledel) boyfriend Logan from seasons five to seven on the original WB dramedy.
Earlier, we reported that the main cast of the series will be back for the revival: Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop, Scott Patterson, Keiko Agena, and Sean Gunn. It’s still unclear whether Melissa McCarthy will return, but Logan will certainly be there. And series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino hopes the rest of Rory’s ex-boyfriends will return as well:
Our plan is to get as many of [Rory’s] lovely men back as possible. We’re still dealing with who’s going to be in it. We definitely want to see them. And we have storylines planned. I just need someone to tell me they’re going to show up.”
Sherman-Palladino then teased that Logan’s presence in the new season doesn’t mean he’s back for Rory. She said, “[Rory’s] dating like any young woman with that face would be.”
Czuchry currently stars on CBS’ The Good Wife.
