Could there be more Gilmore Girls? In a recent interview with TVLine, Lauren Graham discussed the upcoming Netflix revival series.
The upcoming revival, titled Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, is comprised of four 90-minuteepisodes. Most of the original cast is returning, including stars Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop, Scott Patterson, and Milo Ventimiglia.
In the interview, Graham said she feels the revival offers closure for her character but not necessarily the show:
It was complete and utter — for me as an actor and a character — closure. … I don’t think the show itself closes. It’s like in a horror movie when everyone is fine and then there’s one last [scary] thing and you’re like, ‘I guess they could go on.’ That’s a little bit how it feels to me.”
Graham later joked about Gilmore Girls going on forever:
Rory visits Lorelai in the home. This week on Grandma Girls…’”
Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life debuts on November 25th.
