What did ever happen to Dean? According to Zap2It, Jared Padalecki’s character will get some closure in Netflix’s upcoming Gilmore Girls revival.
Earlier, we reported the new season will be titled Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.
At a recent conference, Padalecki said he always wondered what happened to Dean, who left abruptly at the end of season five:
It’s a really nice scene that gave me closure. When I stopped doing ‘Gilmore Girls’ it was abrupt and that happens a lot. Jeffrey Dean Morgan was on [‘Supernatural’], then he was on a different show. I was on ‘Gilmore Girls,’ then I was on a different show.
For me, I never had closure. One day I was an actor on ‘Gilmore Girls,’ the next day I had a TV show and would never again be on ‘Gilmore Girls.’ For me as a person it was weird because I was like, ‘What about Dean?’”
The actor also revealed that Dean might still be where he last worked—at Doose’s Market.
