The Gilmore Girls are going strong. Deadline reports the Netflix revival series, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, is performing well in the ratings.
The four-part revival, which reunites the cast of the original WB/CW series, was released on November 25th. Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop, Scott Patterson, Matt Czuchry, Sean Gunn, Liza Weil, and Keiko Agena star.
According to research firm Symphony Advanced Media, the first episode ( “Winter”) earned “5.99 million viewers in adults 18-49 in Live+3” while the entire four-part season averaged 4.97 million viewers in the 18-49 demo.
These ratings place Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life third in Netflix’s top-rated series, right behind Orange is the New Black and Fuller House. Could this mean another season? Earlier, creator Amy Sherman-Palladino said she won’t rule out another revival in the future.
