No job, no husband, no problem. Right? Bravo announces the third season of Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce will premiere Wednesday, January 11th at 10:00pm ET/PT. Watch a sneak peek, after the jump. Marti Noxon created and executive produces the drama, which was Bravo first original scripted series.
Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce follows Abby McCarthy (Lisa Edelstein) and her tight-knit circle of friends. Beau Garrett, Necar Zadegan, Paul Adelstein, Alanna Ubach, Daisy Betts, and Retta also star. Malcolm-Jamal Warner is set to appear in season three. Check out the preview and some (mild) spoilers, after the jump.
Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce, Season Three, Sneak Peek
This season, expect the women to deal with redefining themselves. They are all experiencing significant changes in their personal and professional lives.
Abby will struggle to revamp her image and figure out what’s next after her meeting with SheShe goes awry. Her ex Jake (Paul Adelstein) will handle finances, while Abby switches gears.
She will try her hand at romance novels and may find a muse in her son’s baseball coach, Mike (James Lesure).
Since she was left at the altar, Delia (Necar Zadegan) wonders if she is marriage material. She decides to focus her energies on her career.
Jo (Alanna Ubach) will mix business and pleasure with her sex addict head baker Scott (Will Kemp). She will also have to deal with the repercussions of her alcoholic ex-husband Frumpkis (Maury Sterling).
Barbara (Retta) takes on a new role at SheShe. At home, she will treat herself to a kitchen renovation. Bravo says her handsome contractor Darrell (Malcolm-Jamal Warner), “May fix more than her stove.”
Meanwhile, Phoebe (Beau Garett) must deal with the consequences of rushing into her marriage with J.D (Aaron Staton). Bravo teases she will find “escape in her friendship with a charismatic billionaire named Gemma (Daisy Betts).”
