Glee finished its six season run on FOX earlier this year, and two members of the cast do not really miss the Ryan Murphy series.
Jane Lynch and Matthew Morrison joined up again for a new Febreze commercial. Lynch asked Morrison to join her for the commercial campaign, and they were glad to work together again.
People Magazine asked them about their time together working on Glee, and both made it clear that they did not miss working on Glee at all. Lynch said that the series “ended at the right time.”
Matthew Morrison expanded on her comment:
“It ran its course. I think it hit the highest of highs and you know some lows as well, just in terms of you know heartbreak and stuff like that, but it was just a great run and I think we got the best thing of it out of it in each other.”
Lynch praised Ryan Murphy and his work for the series as well. She said:
“We thank Ryan Murphy. He’s always out there putting his thumb on what’s happening in the world and what problems kids are having, and he was the first one on them and he would stop production to have an episode on bullying because some kid was bullied notoriously in the news.”
Both Lynch and Morrison have new projects, but they also would not mind teaming up with Murphy again for American Horror Story or Scream Queens.
Fans of Jane Lynch will see her next on Angel from Hell, which will premiere on CBS on January 7.
