From Broadway to broadband. Today, Netflix announced Broadway star Christopher Fitzgerald has joined Netflix’s upcoming mini-series Godless.
From Scott Frank, the drama is set in a 19th century New Mexico mining town. The cast includes Jeff Daniels, Merritt Wever, Jeremy Bobb, and Thomas Brodie-Sangster.
Fitzgerald will play “J.J. Valentine, a smooth talking business man and manipulator who will pay the town of La Belle a visit after the tragic accident that left only the women, whom he knows are susceptible and easy to influence. J.J’s goal is to buy the mine for cheap and eventually run the whole town.”
