Fans of The Golden Girls will soon be able to have the girls in their homes. Funko has created a set of action figures featuring the four ladies. The action figures made their debut at New York Comic Con earlier this week.
Mark Robben, director of marketing at Funko, spoke with ABC News about the debut of The Golden Girls action figures. He said the following:
“The response to our ‘Golden Girls’ products has been wild. We almost weren’t prepared for the excitement. We created these as a passion project initially, and were blown away when it started trending on social media. The show was ahead of its time and it clearly resonates today. I expect long lines at NYCC for Dorothy, Blanche, Rose and Sophia.”
