The Golden Girls just landed on Hulu this month, but is a reboot of the popular sitcom possible?
After Hulu, why not right? Not so fast though. Susan Harris revealed why fans of the popular comedy series will never see a reboot. She said the following, per an Entertainment Weekly report:
“They’ve wanted to do Golden Girls the Musical and re-do Golden Girls, and we’ve always said no because Golden Girls would not be Golden Girls without that cast.”
After the series ended in 1992, a spin-off was made, and it did not lost – Bea Arthur only appeared randomly on The Golden Palace.
