Danny Pino is going international. Deadline reports the Law & Order: SVU star has joined NBCUniversal’s new TV series Gone.
The 12-part procedural drama is intended for an international audience and is the first series to be produced via the partnership between NBCUniversal International Studios, Germany’s RTL, and France’s TF1. Chris Noth and Leven Rambin have already been cast.
From Matt Lopez, the series “tells the fictional story of Kit “Kick” Lannigan (Rambin), survivor of a famous child-abduction case, and Frank Booth (Noth), the FBI agent who rescued her.” Pino will play John Bishop, a former Army intelligence officer who teams up with Kick to solve crimes.
Gone is slated to debut sometime around winter 2017-2018.
