Monica Barbaro is headed to Netflix. Deadline reports the Chicago Justice star has joined the streaming service’s upcoming TV show The Good Cop.
The one-hour dramedy follows Tony Sr. (Tony Danza), a disgraced former NYPD officer who offers advice to his by-the-book son, Tony Jr. (Josh Groban).
On The Good Cop, Barbaro will be playing “Cara Vasquez. Street smart and self-assured, she is the newest detective on the All-City Homicide Task Force. She believes in getting the job done, even if that means bending the rules, which always gets a rise out of her earnest, by-the-book partner, TJ Caruso.”
Netflix has ordered 10 episodes of The Good Cop. A premiere date has not yet been set.
