The Good Wife spin-off has some new company. TVLine reports Paul Guilfoyle and Bernadette Peters have joined the cast of the upcoming CBS series.
From Good Wife creators Robert and Michelle King, the spin-off will feature Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) and Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo) and “center around an enormous financial scam that has destroyed the reputation of a young lawyer while simultaneously wiping out her mentor Diane Lockhart’s savings.” Rose Leslie and Delroy Lindo also star.
Guilfoyle and Peters will play Henry and Lenore, the parents of Diane’s goddaughter Maia (Leslie). The Good Wife spin-off is slated to debut in February 2017.
From TVLine:
Lenore has a working-class background and is a financial genius. Henry is a financial advisor who has done very well for himself — thanks, in large part, to Lenore’s help in expanding their family’s private investment firm — and who is adored by many. The family enjoys something of a celebrity status in Chicago.”
