Is Chuck Bass making a comeback? Recently, Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick spoke with RadioTimes about a possible revival for the CW TV series.
Based on the popular books by Cecily von Ziegesar, the The CW drama followed a group of young adults who attend a private school in New York’s Upper East Side. The cast included Westwick, Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, Taylor Momsen, Matthew Settle, Kelly Rutherford, and Jessica Szohr.
When asked about the possibility of a Gossip Girl reunion, Westwick wasn’t optimistic:
Nah, that’s not gonna happen. I know there’s a bunch of them coming back – I hear they’re doing Will and Grace, they’ve done Gilmore Girls… But it’s such a strange thing to think about. It feels like we only just finished! And I haven’t done enough in between yet to feel like I could comfortably revisit it. And I did so much with that character – it’s played out, man. It’s done.”
