Gotham has added someone new to its cast. In recent weeks, there has been speculation that fans would soon see Vicki Vale from the DC comics on the series. The reports were only half correct.
The series has brought a Vale in for season three, but it isn’t Vicki. It is her aunt, who is named Valerie. Jamie Chung has been cast in the role, according to TV Line.
Chung is well known to Once Upon a Time fans. She has recurred on that series for several seasons as Mulan. TV Line said the following about Chung’s casting:
“Gotham Gazette‘s newest hire, Valerie is a crackerjack reporter dead set on uncovering the truth behind Indian Hill. Confident and dogged, she will do anything to get the scoop, and soon sets her sights on Gordon, who she believes is the key lead in her story.”
