“What the hell is going on?” At this year’s Comic-Con, FOX teased season three of Gotham, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Batman prequel series stars Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue, Morena Baccarin, Robin Lord Taylor, and Jada Pinkett Smith.
During the show’s Comic-Con panel, McKenzie revealed season three will pick up six months after season two ended:
We’re six months in the future and the monsters that have been unleashed…are turning the city into utter, total anarchy. … Jim Gordon is a bounty hunter taking out the monsters and getting paid. It’s a really dynamic start to season three.”
The new season will also feature an older Poison Ivy (Maggie Geha) and the Mad Hatter (Benedict Samuel). Season three of Gotham premieres on September 19th.
