Gotham aired its season two finale on FOX on Monday night, and fans will see some new villains cause chaos in Gotham for season three.
There are new villains that will be familiar to Alice in Wonderland fans. According to Digital Spy, fans will see The Mad Hatter and Solomon Grundy introduced on the series next season. Others will pop up as well. This include the Tweedle brothers.
John Stephens, the executive producer of the series, teased the following in a recent interview:
“We’ll be seeing Mad Hatter in season 3. We’ll be seeing the Tweedle Brothers, too, if we’re going to bring the Hatter in. In line with the Court of Owls, we’ll be seeing Talon. And, we should be seeing Solomon Grundy.”
Grundy has popped up on other DC Universe series, and The Mad Hatter is also a villain in the DC world. The DC counterpart was inspired by the Lewis Carroll books.
