Greenleaf: Season Two Ratings

Greenleaf TV show on OWN: season 2 ratings (canceled or renewed for season 3?)

OWN renewed its Greenleaf TV show for a second season, prior to the series’ June 2016 premiere. The cable network’s faith in the church family mystery proved justified. Although relatively low-rated compared to broadcast fare, Greenleaf season one was one of OWN’s top scripted series, in terms of both its demo numbers and total audience size. How will season two perform? Will Greenleaf be cancelled or renewed for season three? Stay tuned.

Greenleaf stars Keith David, Lynn Whitfield, Lamman Rucker, Kim Hawthorne, Lovie Simone, Merle Dandridge, Desiree Ross, Deborah Joy Winans, Tye White, GregAlan Williams, Benjamin Patterson, Anna Diop, Terri J. Vaughn, and Oprah Winfrey. The OWN drama explores the unscrupulous world of the Greenleaf family and their sprawling Memphis megachurch. Scandalous secrets and lies are as numerous as the faithful.

Below are the show’s TV ratings, typically the best way to tell if the series will be cancelled or renewed. These figures will be updated as the weeks progress.
