Could The Grinder be coming back? During a recent interview, star Rob Lowe said the FOX TV show might not be over quite yet, TVGuide reports.
The cancelled comedy starred Lowe as Dean Sanderson, Jr., an actor who relocates to his old hometown and decides that, since he played a lawyer so successfully on television, practicing law at his family’s law firm can’t be all that different — much to the frustration of his hard-working attorney brother (Fred Savage). The cast also included William Devane, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Natalie Morales, Hana Hayes, and Connor Kalopsis.
Despite critical praise, FOX cancelled The Grinder after one season last year. Now, Lowe says there could be a future for the comedy. In an interview with the Build Series, Lowe revealed there could be a Grinder special or movie in the works:
I hear a rumor that there may be life to The Grinder in some sort of special or movie or something like that. I don’t think you’ve seen the last of The Grinder because too many people liked it, it was such a good show.”
