Guilty Rich is soon coming to television. The new criminal series will focus on “affluenza” which became a better known word during a recent high profile trial.
The new series is coming to Investigation Discovery. CMJ Productions described the series as follows:
“Guilty Rich uses stories of “affluenza” crimes as a window into the lavish lifestyles and extreme wealth that caused them. This unique series brings viewers access to excess, like never before. Focused exclusively on stories where the uber-rich are in some way guilty, every episode pulls the curtain back on the insane money and privileged mentality that fueled each crime.”
John Kuyk, executive producer and CEO at CMJ Productions, said the following about the new series, per Real Screen:
“Guilty Rich – by incorporating unprecedented access to the excessive lifestyles of the ultra-rich via conversations with gossipy friends, hit men, drug dealers and realtors who know them best, the series represents a new page for our company in the crime-themed storytelling genre.”
