“My purpose is to kill the King of England.” Recently, HBO released the official trailer for their upcoming TV show Gunpowder.
The historical mini-series follows follows “British activist Guy Fawkes and a group of provincial English Catholics [who] plan to blow up the House of Lords and kill King James I in the early 17th century.” The cast includes Kit Harington, Peter Mullan, Liv Tyler, and Mark Gatiss.
Gunpowder premieres on HBO on December 18th at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
