Haters gonna hate. According to Variety, Netflix has given a straight-to-series order for new show Haters Back Off. The show is based off the popular YouTube character Miranda Sings, who was created and is played by Colleen Ballinger-Evans.
Haters Back Off will be the first scripted series developed for a YouTube personality.
The comedy will follow Sings, “an incredibly confident, totally untalented star” who lives under the delusion that she’s famous.
The series has been ordered for eight episodes.
