Hawaii Five-0 is packing it up. Deadline reports the CBS TV show is ending after 10 seasons.
A reboot of the 1960s series, the police procedural follows an elite federalized task force whose mission is to wipe out crime on the Hawaiian Isles. The cast includes Alex O’Loughlin, Scott Caan, Ian Anthony Dale, Meaghan Rath, Beulah Koale, Chi McBride, Katrina Law, Taylor Wily, Dennis Chun, and Kimee Balmilero.
CBS has not released an official reason for ending Hawaii Five-0, but according to Deadline the contracts for the series’ two major stars, Alex O’Loughlin and Scott Caan, are up at the end of the 10th and current season.
Although Hawaii Five-0 has dipped in the ratings over the past decade, the series is still a hit for CBS. So far, season 10 is averaging a .70 rating in the 18-49 demo and 7.026 million viewers.
The two-hour series finale of Hawaii Five-0 will debut on CBS on April 3rd.

Do not end this series of Hawaiian 5 o it’s been the best one and it’s one of the best shows on TV NOW make at least five more seasons or else I will quit watching CBS This show is always exciting and you never know what is going to happen. Keep up the good work on this series.

Wow. CBS is really hurting themselves. First Criminal Minds, now 5-0. They moved NCIS New Orleans to Sunday night. They cancelled Madame Secretary. I don’t know if Amazing Race will be back. All of them, good shows. I’m glad I found the Chicago trio on Wed nights. 911 Lone Star. Dang CBS. C’mon.
Will it at least have a proper ending?
Believe they should not end, an have one more season. I have been a fan from very beginning. Love the show There are some questions left to be answered. Catherine coming back. Will there be anymore crossovers with magmum pi and hawaii Five-O? I will be very disappointed there wont be another season. Love watching the show.

It’s not up to the network. O’Loughlin and Caan (McGarett and Danno) are ready to move on to other projects. Can’t fault them .. they gave us 10 years.
There are few good shows on t.v. these days. Sad to see my Friday night special Hawaii 5-0 has got to go. I’m disappointed, CBS!!
I have enjoyed watching the show for years. But I did find the story content becoming repetitive in concept. And some of its characters a little lack luster. However it’s an iconic drama series that has captured and still has supportive viewers.
Think you mean the original Five-O was iconic drama series because this show may have done fine but it hasn’t hit the pop culture or contributed anything to tv like Jack Lord and co did.

Why keep it when O’Loughlin and Caan are both ready to do other things? Wouldn’t be the same without them.
We loved that Hawaii 5-0. It is one of my three programs on Friday. Few weeks ago when there was a crossover with Magnum what a trill it was to see two of my best ones on Friday. CBS, you can not canceled that serie. Every week it keeps us on our feet. Please bring it back.

I am a BIG fan of Hawaii-five-0 and I’m very SAD that CBS is cancelling Hawaii! Its of the best shows on TV. Shame on CBS for canceling such an AWESOME show when there are other lame shows that they keep on.

I thought I heard wrong tonight after the show when the announcer said to be sure to watch the three final shows of Hawaii 5-0. This is my favorite show to watch and now it’s going off! I know Alex and Scott aren’t renewing contracts and injuries have plagued both actors. I was a huge fan of the original H50 and bigger fan of the reboot. I wish Alex and Scott the very best and the rest of the cast the same….all of you will be missed on Friday nights. Aloha and thank-you for such a terrific show!!!
