Hawaii Five-0 has big things planned for its seventh season on CBS. Peter Lenkov offered a small teaser for Kono fans. The character is played by actress Grace Park. Kono had to deal with her husband being behind bars last season, and his release will happen during season seven.
Lenkov teased the following about the upcoming season to Entertainment Weekly:
“As previously teased, Adam will get out of jail next season, but it will take some time for things to go back to normal for Kono and her husband. ‘These two people have to get to know each other again,’ EP Peter M. Lenkov tells me. ‘Some of that erodes when there’s distance. Especially being in prison, your mind starts to wander and you start to question things. But their relationship is in a healthy place, I just think that they’re going to need to get to know each other again when he comes out. But I think she will trust him.”
In previous comments, Lenkov teased more comedy from McGarrett and Danny. Not everything is drama with this show.
