Selma Blair is returning to the small screen. Deadline reports the American Crime Story star has joined the cast of Paramount Network’s upcoming TV show Heathers.
Based on the 1988 film, the dark comedy will be set in the present day and follow Veronica Sawyer (Grace Victoria Cox), a girl dealing with her own group of vicious Heathers. The cast also includes Brendan Scannell, James Scully, Melanie Field, Jasmine Mathews, and original movie star Shannen Doherty.
On Heathers, Blair will play “Jade, described as a stripper menthol smoker who is rough around the edges, but with a bit of glamour to her.” The new series is expected to debut on Paramount Network in 2018.
