TV show description:      
The lyric “the way you walk and talk really sets me off,” from the opening theme song of this reality program describes what the contestants do to renowned chef Gordon Ramsay in the duration of an episode. Beyond walking and talking, the cooking in this competition show sets him off and he’s never afraid to show it.

Contestants are split into two teams — one red, one blue — and battle one another in a variety of team and individual cooking challenges. A player is chosen from the winning team to receive an award while the losers have to endure an assortment of kitchen duties during dinner service. If something is even the slightest bit unsatisfactory to Ramsay, he tells the chefs to start over or worse?to just stop service all together. The best player on the losing team must decide which two should face elimination. Ramsay then makes the ultimate decision about who stays and who can’t take the heat in his kitchen and must get out.

When there are only a few remaining chefs, the teams combine into a unified black team and play for themselves. The final two contestants go head to head in a restaurant challenge. Each chooses the menu and decor for their establishment and six of the eliminated chefs return to assist the final two in their last challenge. Ramsay then chooses a winner based on the last two chefs’ performance. The victor, who has survived his wrath and impressed him the most, is awarded the position as an executive chef at a top restaurant.
