TV show description:
The host of a home improvement TV show, klutzy Tim Taylor (Tim Allen), spends almost as much time in the emergency room as he does in a tool shed.

Wife Jill (Patricia Richardson) does her best to keep her husband away from fixing any of the household appliances, but she’s often busy chasing after their three sons: the athletic troublemaker Brad (Zachery Ty Bryan), witty and academic Randy (Jonathan Taylor Thomas), and youngest son Mark (Taran Noah Smith), who is often the target of his older brothers’ jokes.

Tim’s flannel clad co-host on the Tool Time show, Al Borland (Richard Karn), often comes to Tim’s aid during his projects on the show. Tool Time Girls Lisa (Pamela Anderson) and Heidi (Debbie Dunning) also assist Tim in bringing him tools on set and introducing the show. At home, neighbor Wilson (Earl Hindman) supports Tim by offering wisdom over a picket fence in the Taylor’s backyard.

Based on Tim Allen’s stand-up comedy, the show explores family life and the differences between men and women. Though there’s always commotion at the Taylor household — the affection this family shares for one another is in need of very little improvement.
