Will there be another season of Horace and Pete? According to Deadline, creator and star Louis CK is interested in a second season of the self-financed web series.
Released in January, the drama stars CK and Steve Buscemi as Horace and Pete, the co-owners of a 100-year-old Brooklyn bar. The cast also includes Edie Falco, Steven Wright, and Jessica Lange.
At an Emmy screening for the series earlier this week, CK said he does have ideas for more episodes of Horace and Pete:
I have ideas on how to continue this series, but the test is always — does it write? I did this myself without a network because I didn’t want to (be committed to) do it again. I only want to do it if it’s really compelling.”
Later, he said he’ll spend this summer outlining a season two storyline, adding “but if it doesn’t write, I’ll leave it alone. There’s no reason to go back.”
