This TV series revolves around two enterprising Brooklyn twenty-something guys as they hustle their way through New York City. They’re determined to achieve the American Dream and make a name for themselves in the city’s competitive fashion scene.

When his skateboard-deck business venture hits the wall, graphic designer Ben Epstein (Bryan Greenberg) agrees to fund a “sure thing” — a leather jacket hustle that’s proposed by his best friend, Cam Calderon (Victor Rasuk). Their scheme becomes desperate when Cam’s cousin Rene (Luis Guzman) gets out of jail and comes looking for payback of an old $5,000 loan. They eventually find a way to pay back the money, thanks to a now-wealthy old schoolmate of Ben’s, hedge fund manager David Kaplan (Eddie Kaye Thomas).

Ben discovers that his ex-girlfriend, interior designer Rachel (Lake Bell), is now dating a hot hotel guy named Darren. Cam, with the help of friends Domingo (Scott Mescudi aka Kid Cudi) and Gingy (Shannyn Sossamon), find a way to get Ben out of his funk.

Before long, the pair have taken out another loan from Rene in order to launch a new denim line called Crisp. Now reformed, Rene starts promoting Rasta-Monsta, his own energy drink.
