NEW YORK, NY – May 30, 2019 – Bravotaps into the cultural zeitgeist with a bold new experiment, “In A Man’s World,” where four dynamic women embark on a journey of a lifetime as they morph into men for several days after months of training. With Academy Award-winning makeup artists and skilled voice and movement coaches, each woman will tackle gender issues head on, exploring what it’s like to experience the world as a man. It was announced today by Rachel Smith, Senior Vice President, Development, Bravo Media. The series, from JuVee Productions and Lucky 8, will premiere this fall.

“We at JuVee continue our commitment to illuminate the challenges and obstacles of the voiceless. Our goal is to be disrupters. We are so proud of the originality and boldness of ‘In A Man’s World’ and it is our hope that it shifts you a little,” said executive producer Viola Davis.

Each episode of “In A Man’s World” will feature a different woman where cameras follow their every move. Leading up to the reveal of their ultimate disguise, each individual is coached by experts for months learning how to move and talk like their male counterparts. From a professional pool player to a pastor, the women will be tasked with venturing out into the real world, testing their training by going about their normal routines in both professional settings and facing their closest friends and family members. Documenting their inspiring journeys, the women learn a lot about themselves but at the end of the day, will their experiences match expectations? Or, will they be shocked to discover what it’s really like to live in a man’s world?

“In A Man’s World” is produced for Bravo by Lucky 8 with Kim Woodard, Greg Henry, Isaac Holub, George Kralovansky, Kate Bernstein and Danielle Medina serving as executive producers; and JuVee Productions with Viola Davis, Julius Tennon and Andrew Wang serving as executive producers.”
