TV show description:
A sketch comedy series with an emphasis on African-American subjects. Regular segments and characters include homeless drunk Anton Jackson, elderly couple Mr. and Ms. Brooks, gossip Benita Butrell, penny-pinching Cheap Pete, the East Hollywood Squares game show, scarred Fire Marshal Bill, violent Homey D. Clown, and Great Moments in Black History.
Comedian Keenen Ivory Wayans created, wrote, and starred in the show for three seasons. Wayans family members — Damon, Kim, Shawn, Dwayne, and Marlon — frequently appear on the program as well. Other regular castmembers include Jim Carrey, Leroy “Twist ” Casey, Kelly Coffield, Kim Coles, Tommy Davidson, Jamie Foxx, David Alan Grier, T’Keyah Keymah, Steve Park, Alexandra Wentworth, and Marc Wilmore.
