Ink Master: Angels: Spike Orders All-Female Spin-off Series

Watch out, boys. Today, Spike announced they’ve ordered a new spin-off of the TV series Ink Master called Ink Master: Angels.

The competition show “features four of “Ink Master” Season 8’s top female competitors – Ryan Ashley, Kelly Doty, Nikki Simpson and Gia Rose – as they travel the country and go head to head with some of America’s most talented tattoo artists.”

Spike has ordered 10 episodes of Ink Master: Angels, which is set to premiere this fall.

New York, NY, June 5, 2017 – Spike’s hit original tattoo-competition franchise, “Ink Master,” continues to grow, as the network has greenlit 10 episodes of new series, “Ink Master: Angels.” The series features four of “Ink Master” Season 8’s top female competitors – Ryan Ashley, Kelly Doty, Nikki Simpson and Gia Rose – as they travel the country and go head to head with some of America’s most talented tattoo artists. Competitors will face a variety of tattoo-based challenges to see who has what it takes to beat the “Angels” and earn a spot on Season 10 of “Ink Master” (premiering on Paramount Network in 2018). Both series are produced by Truly Original.

The announcement was made today by Chachi Senior, Senior Vice President, Alternative Programming & Development, Spike/Paramount Network.

“As the ‘Ink Master’ franchise continues to grow, we are thrilled to work with Ryan Ashley, Kelly Doty, Nikki Simpson and Gia Rose on ‘Ink Master: Angels,'” said Senior. “The fan-favorite females of Season 8 will add a new voice to the franchise and help us discover the best artists around the country.”

The new series, which has been picked up for 10 one-hour episodes will air in the fall of 2017 following the culmination of “Ink Master” Season 9, which premieres Tuesday, June 6, along with new episodes of spin-off series “Ink Master: Redemption.”

“Ink Master,” “Ink Master: Angels” and “Ink Master: Redemption” are produced for Spike by Truly Original (“Swamp People,” “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” “Vanity Fair Confidential”) with Glenda Hersh, Steven Weinstock and Andrea Richter serving as executive producers. Truly Original is a subsidiary of Endemol Shine North America.

Chachi Senior is Spike’s Senior Vice President, Alternative Programming, Tori Socha Vice President, Development, Spike, oversees production of “Ink Master Angels” for the network and Chaz Gray, Executive Producer of Current, Original Series, Spike, oversees production of “Ink Master” for the network.”
