If at first you don’t succeed, go to Netflix. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the streaming service has picked up the TV show Insatiable after The CW passed on the pilot.
From writer Lauren Gussis, the drama follows a “disgraced, dissatisfied civil lawyer turned beauty-pageant coach (Dallas Roberts) who takes on a vengeful, bullied teenager (Debby Ryan, pictured) as his client.” The cast also includes Sarah Colonna, Kimmy Shields, Alyssa Milano, Erinn Westbrook, Michael Provost, and Chris Gorham.
Netflix has ordered 13 episodes of Insatiable after The CW said no to the pilot. Apparently, the latter passed on the project due to lack of room on their programming schedule.
