Inside the Actors Studio is back, and a big name is set to take the hot seat next month. An interview with Ted Danson, from Cheers and The Good Place, is set.

Bravo Media’s Emmy Award-winning Inside the Actors Studio,” hosted by James Lipton welcomes critically-acclaimed actor, author and producer Ted Danson on Thursday, January 11 at 8pm ET/PT. The multi-hyphenate star recounts his childhood growing up in Arizona, to his early career as well as his breakout role as ‘Sam Malone’ in Cheers. Danson reveals his favorite memories from the show, including working with director James Burrows, his character’s love interest Diane, played by Shelley Long, and why he felt it was time to move on from this iconic role. In the episode, viewers will also learn about Danson’s favorite film and television roles, including Something About AmeliaThree Men and a Baby, Body Heat, Damages, Bored to Death and his current role in The Good Place alongside Kristen Bell.

Ted Danson is an award-winning film and television actor. He has received numerous industry accolades, including three Golden Globe Awards and two Emmy Awards. In addition to his work on screen, Danson is also a passionate environmental activist. He founded the American Oceans Campaign in 1987, which merged with Oceana in 2001, where he currently serves as a board member. He published his first book “Oceana: Our Endangered Oceans and What We Can Do to Save Them” in 2011. Currently, he can be seen on the small screen in both The Good Place and Curb Your Enthusiasm.”
