Is Inside Amy Schumer on the outs? Recently, the heads of Comedy Central addressed the future of the series in a Variety interview.
The sketch show has already been renewed for a fifth season, which will likely premiere next year.
When asked about a possible season six, Viacom chief Doug Herzog said Schumer’s future looks busy:
I think Amy’s immediately viable movie career is something that she’s going to be pretty focused on going forward. That’s one of the things in developing stars — they create other opportunities for themselves and we have to figure out how to work around it. But she’s got a lot on her plate right now.”
He added that a sixth season will be determined later.
