From Velocity:

(New York) – Illustrious custom car designer Ryan Friedlinghaus and his skilled team at West Coast Customs return to Velocity with never-before-seen episodes of INSIDE WEST COAST CUSTOMS featuring some of the most incredible builds created exclusively in his new expansive Burbank custom automotive shop. The all-new episodes of INSIDE WEST COAST CUSTOMS showcase the innovative, original work the West Coast Customs team does for a full range of corporate and celebrity clients, including popular brands such as Sriracha and Kmart, as well as superstars including boxing legend Oscar de la Hoya, pop music sensation Justin Bieber and celebrated musician Kid Rock. From the excitement in the shop working on a 1960s Volkswagen Bus to bringing a Raptor Mustang to the biggest automotive show in America, the SEMA Show, there is no shortage of amazing car transformations happening on INSIDE WEST COAST CUSTOMS premiering Tuesday, March 21 at 9PM ET/PT only on Velocity.

“We welcomed Ryan back with fan favorite episodes of WEST COAST CUSTOMS in January. Audiences have responded, making those encores some of our top-rated programming for the quarter,” said Robert S. Scanlon, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Velocity and Automotive Content. “Ryan and his crew build unimaginable rides every day and we are excited to see what new creations he conjures up on INSIDE WEST COAST CUSTOMS”.

“We are so happy to be able to share the progression and evolution of our work with so many of our dedicated fans through Velocity. Our builds now really run the gamut — whether it’s a walk-in customer, a large-scale corporate branded project, one of our signature celebrity builds that we have now been doing for 24 years or a conceptual prototype that becomes a reality, it’s an amazing time to be back on Velocity.”

On each episode of INSIDE WEST COAST CUSTOMS Ryan Friedlinghaus and his team tackle the unthinkable creating true masterpieces for every client that walks into the shop. This season, the crew customizes a 2016 Lamborghini Aventador for boxing legend Oscar de la Hoya and a 1974 Coupe de Ville Cadillac for musician Kid Rock, which was once owned by country star Waylon Jennings. Justin Bieber also tasks the team to completely retro style a 1991 Ford Explorer for his friend and rapper Post Malone. The premiere season of INSIDE WEST COAST CUSTOMS will also feature out-of-this-world creations including a spicy Sriracha Lexus, featuring a pepper-filled steering wheel, and a complete mobile virtual reality experiential bus for Kmart’s customers to travel across the country.

Upcoming INSIDE WEST COAST CUSTOMS premieres, all times ET/PT:

“Vintage VW” Tuesday, March 21 at 9pm Fred Behr and his wife are ready for an extended road trip, but no motorhome will do. Instead they want to customize their rare 1960’s split window VW bus. Both are fans of the steampunk look, so it’s now up to Ryan and the team at West Coast Customs to come up with a design that’s both practical and stylish, including the ultimate moon roof for gazing at the stars while on the road.

“The Kmart Experience” Tuesday, March 28 at 9pm The marketing team at Kmart want to create a mobile experience for the entire family using virtual reality that can travel to Kmart’s across the country. They’re not quite sure what they want, but they know they want something cool, so of course they head over to West Coast Customs, the creators of cool. The WCC team is focused on building a state of the art virtual reality bus that can hit the road and make a splash. Kmart’s first stop is an event at St. Jude Children’s Hospital so Ryan and the team work overtime so these kids can have a one of a kind experience.

“Too Hot To Handle” Tuesday, April 4 at 9pm Lexus and Sriracha are teaming up and they want Ryan to build them a spicy Lexus IS. Ryan thinks it’s going to be an easy job – Sriracha colored paint and a pepper-filled steering wheel. But it is never easy creating one of a kind masterpieces. To add fuel to the fire, boxing legend Oscar de la Hoya also wants his new Lamborghini Aventador wrapped in matte satin. The heat is getting turned up at West Coast Customs.

“Mad Dash To SEMA” Tuesday, April 11 at 9pm SEMA is the one of the biggest annual events in the car world. A huge four-day event held in Las Vegas with everyone who’s anyone from the car world attending. Most vendors have large booths, but none bigger than West Coast Customs. But this year, they are putting the SEMA attendees to work, taking classes and learning from the experts at West Coast Customs in areas such as paint, wrap, interior, fabrication and electronics. Before the team can even make it to Vegas, BendPak drops a job in Ryan’s lap. They want him to build a Raptor, Mustang and trailer for their booth at SEMA. The owner of BendPak also wants Ryan to make a special golf cart for his wife. And since Ryan is a long-time friend, he goes above and beyond to make her something special.

“Kid Rock’s Country Caddy” Tuesday, April 18 at 9pm Besides being a chart-topping musician, Kid Rock is also a collector of music history. He’s got country legend Waylon Jennings’ Coupe de Ville Cadillac that is in need of some tender lovin’ care. Kid Rock wants this car to be a show piece that he can take to shows and put on display. Of course, it needs to have the outlaw look of Ol’ Waylon and the boys at West Coast Customs must take this wreck of a car and make it fit for a legend.

“Bieber’s Old Skool Explorer” Tuesday, April 25 at 9pm While picking up his custom 1936 Rolls Royce at West Coast Customs, pop sensation Justin Bieber tells Ryan he wants to give a present to his good friend, rapper Post Malone and he wants Ryan and the team to create it. Post likes things retro, so for this build we’re going back to the style that originally made WCC famous. It’s time to make a pimped out 1991 Explorer, complete with 32″ wheels, Lamborghini doors, and whatever old school features Ryan can come up with. It’s time to see if West Coast Customs still has its old school chops.

WEST COAST CUSTOMS is executive produced by Ryan Friedlinghaus and the production company is K.O.C. Productions. For Velocity, David Lee is executive producer and Robert S. Scanlon is executive vice president and general manager of Velocity and Automotive Content.”
