It’s Archie!: New Animated Series for Archie Comics Characters

Acording to Animation Magazine, Moonscoop LLC and Archie Comics are partnering to co-produce a new animated series starring Archie Comics characters like Archie, Betty, Jughead, Veronica and Reggie.

It’s Archie will follow the timeless characters as rambunctious pre-teens in a contemporary Riverdale. Like most tweens, the Archie gang will struggle with everyday issues like peer pressure, boy vs. girl competition, pie eating contests, chores and homework. They’ll also encounter mad scientists, aliens in the janitor’s closet, pirates, lake monsters and more.

Season one of the comedy adventure series will be offered at MIPJunior and MIPCOM in Cannes this fall.
