This drama follows the lives of two brothers living in Hart, Missouri, one of whom will be elected President of the United States in the year 2040. High school sophomore Jack McCallister (Matt Long) is a natural born leader who seems to have everything going for him, including his relationship with cheerleader Missy Belknap (Keri Lynn Pratt) and friendship with fellow track star Marcus Ride (Edwin Hodge).
