What’s next for Jane the Virgin? Recently, executive producer Jennie Snyder Urman spoke with Deadline about what’s ahead for the CW TV series.
The dramedy, which stars Gina Rodriguez, Justin Baldoni, Andrea Navedo, Yael Grobglas, Ivonne Coll, and Jaime Camil, is currently in its third season and has already been renewed for a fourth.
During a recent panel, Urman revealed there will be happiness coming Jane’s way:
There is a lot of light and joy that are coming back. There are love interests, but it’s all, ‘how does she move on from all of this? At this point in the story there is no life without Mateo, Jane is a mom, she can’t imagine her life without him. … For this character who is such a planner, these curveballs are really important to keep her growing and changing and moving and keep the storytelling not stale.”
Later, Urman teased you will not find out who the narrator is until the The CW series finale.
