The plot thickens. Desperate Housewives‘ Ricardo Chavira has been cast as a love interest for Xo (Andrea Navedo) in the third season of the Jane the Virgin TV show on The CW. Chavira recurs as Francisco Vargas on ABC’s Scandal. He also guest starred as Martin on former co-star Eva Longoria’s Telenovela TV series, which was cancelled after on season on NBC.
Deadline reports that on Jane the Virgin, Chavira’s character is an ex-boyfriend of Xo. He who dated her while he was married. She is already set up for a Who’s the Daddy Storyline, involving her ex-husband Rogelio (Jaime Camil) and his nemesis, Esteban (Keller Wortham).
