There’s a new face on Jane the Virgin. Recently, The CW released a new poster for season four of the TV show that reveals a big replacement, TVLine reports.
The dramedy stars Gina Rodriguez as Jane, a young woman who ends up becoming pregnant thanks to being artificially inseminated by mistake. The cast also includes Justin Baldoni, Andrea Navedo, Yael Grobglas, Ivonne Coll, Jaime Camil, and Anthony Mendez (voice over).
The new season four poster shows Jane and her son, Mateo, who will be played by a new actor (Elias Janssen) this season. According to TVLine, the previous Mateo (Joseph Sanders) is “busy with school.”
Will the new Mateo be the only fresh face to join season four of Jane the Virgin? Guess we’ll have to wait and see. The new season premieres on The CW on October 13th at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
