What’s in store for season two of Between? Recently star Jennette McCurdy spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about the Netflix series’ new season.
The sci-fi drama takes place in a town where a mysterious virus has wiped out everyone over the age of 21. The cast includes Jesse Carere, Steven Grayhm, and Mercedes Morris.
In the interview, McCurdy says her character, teenage mother Wiley Day, matures in the new season:
Wylie’s maturity and motherhood tendencies kick in. She’s taking care of another life, so if there’s an option to get out of Pretty Lake, that’s an option she’s going to take and go full-throttle toward that decision.”
Season two of Between premieres tonight, June 30th, on City TV at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Season two will be available on Netflix beginning July 1st.
