Judge Dredd may soon return in a new television series. There is not much to go on right now, but Karl Urban talked about the possibility of a return for the franchise at a recent event. The actor starred in 2012 release Dredd 3D. The film was a box office failure, but that has not stopped the talk of a potential television series.
At the Calgary Expo, Urban said that “conversations are happening” for a potential Netflix or Amazon project. According to Movie Web, Urban made a plea to the streaming services on his own Twitter account in the past as well.

There was already an animated web series for Judge Dredd. That launched in 2014. Fans will likely hear more about a potential Dredd project as Urban heads out to promote Star Trek Beyond. That film is set for release on July 22.
