Goodbye Good Wife, hello The Jury. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Archie Panjabi has been cast in the new ABC drama pilot The Jury.
Panjabi played Kalinda Sharma on The Good Wife for six seasons.
From VJ Boyd and Mark Bianculli, The Jury will be an anthology series that focuses on a murder trial through the perspective of the individual jurors. Panjabi will play the series’ lead, Kim Dempsey.
Dempsey is being described as “a force of nature cloaked in a professional demeanor who isn’t interested in making friends but instead in finding the truth.”
Panjabi is the first to be cast in the legal drama.
