Get ready for another series by the woman that helped bring Scandal to life. Judy Smith has her stamp on Justice, a potential series that could end up on FOX at some point. The network has committed to a script for the series with a penalty.
Deadline reported the following about the plot of the series:
“Written by Jeremy Miller and Daniel Cohn (Entourage) and inspired by Judy Smith’s own story, Justice centers on a high-powered African American woman who is made the new U.S. Attorney and how she works with her team of attorneys who take on local and federal cases all the while trying to fix the problems in their own life before secrets unravel.”
Judy Smith’s time at the White House as Deputy Press Secretary and the time that followed helped inspire Scandal. That series will return to ABC for its sixth season at mid-season.
